Module 3

Covers nail shapes and styles with tips depending on the client's nail beds and length. You will use the theory in module 3 to understand the best nail preparation techniques from start to finish, creating the best foundation for your gel application.

Module 4

The gel polish manicure is the foundation qualification for nail techs. This module will leave you with a solid understanding of gel application techniques, and the basics of nail art covering French tip on varying nail shapes with step-by-step pictures.

You will have a written assessment at the end of the theory section. This will consist of an image per each stage of the manicure process. You will have to explain each stage and its importance in your own words.

Your First Case Study

You will have 5 case studies in total.

Your first case study will be online via video call, with your educator present to guide you where needed and assess your skills in practice. The date and time will be arranged with you directly.

Complete 4 gel polish manicures on 2 - 4 different models to ensure a variety of cuticles and nail bed lengths | 2 Red + 2 French Tip
